Costume Terminology
Girdle - a garment that encircles the lower torso, perhaps extending below the hips, and worn often for support, originally meant a belt at the waist
Loin Skirt - short skirt (often pleated) a.k.a. loin cloth, breechcloth, kilt
Fillet - a band or ribbon worn around the head, especially for binding the hair.
Diadem - a jeweled crown or headband often a symbol of royalty or sovereignty a.k.a. tiara, coronet, crown, circlet
Tunic - Simple chiton usually sewn worn over a loin cloth. Giant t-shirt or simple pillowcase with neck holes and arm holes usually calf-length
